The Gospel

The gospel, or "good news," is that Jesus has bridged the gap between God and us. Since the penalty of sin is death, our innate sinful nature separates us from God. But Christ, through His atoning death on the cross and resurrection from the grave, paid the penalty of sin that we could never pay ourselves. Now, through Christ, we can be made righteous before a Holy God.
That, my friend, is Good News!
